Best Gluten, Grain, Refined Sugar, and Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Cookies!

There is nothing better than a delicious, ooey gooey, chewy chocolate chip cookie! That is why I bring you our all time favourite recipe in our household created and tested by me!





Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup almond flour

  • ¼ cup ground flax

  • ½ cup coconut sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted or soft

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  • ⅓ cup dairy free chocolate chips (use an unsweetened chocolate for completely sugar free, or make your own by mixing coconut oil, cacao powder, sweetening with maple syrup. Let harden in the freezer for an hour. Take it out and chop it up! Add to your cookie!)

  • Optional Add ins: hemp seed hearts, fresh grated ginger, tsp of turmeric (why not!), chopped walnuts, pecans or almonds for an added crunch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine all of the wet ingredients (egg, oil, vanila)

  3. Combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, salt)

  4. Mix together thoroughly

  5. Add in chocolate chips, and add ins

  6. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper

  7. Make balls by scooping 1 tbsp. Flatten with fingers

  8. Bake for 10-12 min, take out let cool and serve!
